Once again, we have listened and now bring you finished plastic (hard resin) with polycarbonate available in 2012. Using Transitions Finished lenses from Younger Optics helps your lab reduce operational costs, and provide better service with quick processing convenience. Younger ships same day when ordered before 3pm! Look to Younger Optics to provide you with Transitions Finished Lenses for quick turnaround times for your valued customers. We have also expanded our lens offerings of Transitions plastic Flat Top 28 with higher additions! In our 4, 6 and 8 bases, we now offer the following higher adds; 3.25, 3.50, 3.75, and 4.00. Brown and Gray colors.

Younger Optics: Trilogy Thickness Change

Younger has announced a product enhancement in our TRILOGY® Semi-Finished Single Vision Spherical lens offerings. We are now providing you with thicker lens blanks in the 0.50 through 4.00 base curves which will allow greater ease of processing for both conventional and digital surfacing. Here is a link for new specifications and barcodes for your convenience. Please note the specifications have not changed in the 5 through 8 bases. This change only affects our clear lens semi-finished offerings, both hard-coated and uncoated, in the 0.50 through 4.00 bases. Should you have any of the older 0.50 through 4.00 base lenses in your inventories, please feel free to return them for full credit/exchange. Do keep any other bases in your inventories as there are no changes in 5 through 8 base lens specifications.

No one pair of lenses can provide a patient with all of the essential vision care they need. To help get this message out to the eyecare community, Younger Optics and Transitions Optical have teamed up to create the “More Choices” brochure, a new training and sales tool that introduces the concept of essential everyday and sunwear lenses as part of a patient’s total vision solution. This book can be used to help ECPs and their patients better understand that everyday lenses and sun wear lenses are complementary, not competing products.
